How It Works

Local businesses, civic groups, clubs and/or families adopt a box for one month at a time. Here's what is expected during that month:

  • The box should be stocked weekly.

  • We strive to check the box 2-3 times per week.

  • Approximately 2-3 grocery bags or $80-$100 will restock the Blessing Box for a full month.

  • We suggest shopping at places such as Aldi, Dollar Tree, Dollar General to have your money go the furthest.

  • We suggest donating the following items: canned goods, fruit cups, pasta/sauce, cereal, peanut butter and jelly, school snack items, toiletry items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc. or general cleaning supplies, laundry soap, etc.

For more information or to volunteer to adopt a box for a month, please contact Marlena Urbain at marlena.urbain@gmail.com.
